Choosing a Project and Contacting a Supervisor
To apply for entry to one of our research programs, you will need to have a supervisor within the Department whose own research area is relevant to the research you want to pursue. Academic staff in the Department are actively involved in undergraduate teaching, postgraduate teaching, postgraduate research supervision and staff research projects in the following general areas:
- climate science
- earth surface processes
- environmental management
- spatial information science
Have a look at the Research page and the Discipline's Service and Expertise listings to identify our research areas and associated staff. Please feel free to contact staff members to discuss their research areas and how they could be integrated into your research plans. Prospective research students are then advised to contact the Department's Administrative Officer before a formal application is made.
