Welcome to Environmental Science at Macquarie University ~ Sydney
Environmental Science focuses on the biophysical environment. We research and teach about the atmosphere, oceans, soils, cryosphere and the role humans play within these systems. Environmental Science has three particular areas of expertise in Environmental Earth Science (Soils, Fluvial and Quaternary), Climate Science (Climate change, biometeorology, mathematical modelling of the atmosphere and ocean, applied climatology) and Information Science.
